Mav Motivators

We here at Memorial are very excited to introduce the Mavs Motivators program to our Memorial Mavericks!

Our Mavs Motivators are parents, guardians, family members, and community volunteers who want to make a difference in our school. The benefits of having Mavs Motivators at Memorial are many:

1. Positive Role Models – Volunteers provide encouragement, inspiration, and mentorship that make a lasting impact on students’ lives.

2. Enhanced Safety & Support – An extra set of eyes and ears helps create a welcoming, secure, and respectful environment for everyone.

3. Stronger School Community – By participating in school and school-related events, Mavs Motivators connect more deeply with students, teachers, and families, strengthening the Maverick spirit.

4. Insight Into Student Life – Volunteers get a firsthand look into students’ daily experiences, helping them better understand and support their journey.

All volunteers must be Voly checked, so please click here to start your Voly Background application. Once approved, you’ll be ready to sign up for a time slot on campus. Sign-up times will be released after our main kick-off event each fall or spring, so keep an eye on your email for details.

On your Mavs Motivator day, you will be introduced to the entire campus along with your student(s), so everyone knows who the Motivator of the day is. You’ll spend time learning about the school, supporting activities, and sharing in the student experience. Be ready to be active, involved, and most of all—have fun! Students are always excited to show (and tell) you all the wonderful things happening at Memorial.
